Kamera GPS Privacy Policy
App: Kamera GPS (com.phipaya.kameragps) · Developer: Phipaya Developer · Effective 22 October 2026 · Updated 28 October 2026
Kamera GPS ("the app") is a camera that adds a location, address, mini map and time stamp to photos. This page explains what data is used, why, and which parties are involved. The app does not require an account. This is a translation of the Indonesian privacy policy; both versions have the same content.

2. Camera and storage
Camera permission is only used when you take photos. Photos are saved in the Pictures/Kamera GPS folder on your phone and are not uploaded to any server by us. Reference photos for the project progress and 4-direction features are stored in the app's internal storage.
Stamping existing photos. Gallery photos are chosen through the Android Photo Picker, so the app can only read the photos you pick and does not ask for access to your whole gallery. The app reads the time and location stored in those photos and saves a stamped copy as a new photo; the original is not changed. If a photo has no location, you can use your current location or type an address yourself, and the stamp then notes that the location was added later.
PDF reports and albums. PDF reports are created on your phone and saved in the Download/Kamera GPS folder. A report is only sent to others when you share it yourself, for example via WhatsApp. Album data, fixed fields, report entries and the per-photo stamp records are stored in the app's internal storage.
3. Location, address and map
Location permission is used while the app is open to show coordinates, address, direction and a mini map on the photo stamp. Location is not used in the background. To convert coordinates into an address, the app uses the Android geocoder service (Google). For the mini map, the app downloads map tiles from Geoapify based on your location; the map data comes from OpenStreetMap. Map tiles are cached on your phone for 30 days so they are not downloaded again. Processing by these services is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and the Geoapify Privacy Policy. We do not collect or store your location on our servers.
The app also checks whether the phone uses a fake (mock) location and adds a warning to the photo when detected. This check happens only on your phone.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
This app is free and funded by Google AdMob ads. AdMob may collect the device advertising ID, IP address, device information, ad interactions and diagnostic data to show and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud. Users in regions where it is required are asked for consent through Google's consent form, and can change their choice in Settings › Ad privacy options. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings › Google › Ads. More information: how Google uses data from partner apps.
5. Security
Data sent to the Google services above is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Data stored on your phone is protected by Android system security.
6. Children
This app is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
7. Your rights and data deletion
Because we do not store your data on servers, you control all data on your phone. Delete photos from the app gallery or phone gallery; delete progress projects from the project list; delete albums in the app gallery; remove the logo and fixed fields in Settings; delete PDF reports from the Download folder. Uninstalling the app deletes all settings, logos, projects, albums and report entries stored in it; photos and PDFs already saved on your phone remain until you delete them. For data processed by Google, see your Google account and ad settings.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app features change. The effective date above will be updated with every change.
