Parafya ("the app") helps you open, sign, fill, check before uploading, and make safe copies of PDF documents and document photos. The app does not request internet permission, so it technically cannot send your documents or data anywhere. There is no account, no advertising, and we have no server that receives your data. You can verify this yourself: on the app's Google Play page, the App permissions section lists no network access; the app never appears in your phone's data usage list; and the "Why you can trust it" screen inside the app shows the permission list read directly from Android. (Internet access does not appear under Permissions in phone Settings for any app, because Android treats it as a normal permission.)
Your documents only leave the app when you yourself tap Share, Print, or save a result to a folder on your phone.

2. Text recognition (OCR) and redaction of key numbers
Text recognition uses Google ML Kit bundled inside the app and runs entirely on the phone. Because the app has no internet permission, page images, recognized text, and ML Kit usage statistics cannot be sent anywhere. Auto-redaction looks for number patterns (for example national ID, family card, tax, bank account, and phone numbers) in that recognized text, also on the phone.
PDF to Word conversion also runs on the phone: text, images, and OCR results are assembled into a DOCX file without being sent to any server.
3. Document scanner
The "Scan" button opens Google's document scanner provided by Google Play services, a separate Google app on your phone. The scanner module is downloaded by Google Play services; scanned images are processed on the phone and handed to this app as a PDF. Google may record scanner usage statistics under the ML Kit Terms and the Google Privacy Policy. The scanner runs only when you tap "Scan".
4. App lock and screen protection
App lock uses your phone's fingerprint, face, or screen PIN. Verification is done by Android; the app only receives "success" or "failure" and never receives or stores your biometric data. The signature, safe copy, copy history, form, and profile screens block screenshots and recent-apps previews.
5. Parafya Pro purchases
Parafya Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play; we do not receive your card or payment details. Communication with Google's servers is done by the Play Store app on your phone, not by this app. The app only reads the purchase status to unlock Pro, including when the app is reopened.
6. Printing, sharing, and links
When you tap Print or Share, the file is handed to the Android print service or to the app you choose; anything after that is governed by that service or app. Links such as this policy open in your phone's browser.
7. Files from other apps
When you open or share a PDF or photo from another app with Parafya, it is copied into the app's private workspace so the original is never modified. All changes are saved as new files.
8. Storage, backup, and security
App data is kept in internal storage that only this app can read. It is not backed up to the cloud and not transferred to a new phone, because it is encrypted with a key bound to this phone; on a new phone, signatures and the profile need to be created again.
9. Children
The app is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
10. Your rights and data deletion
Because we keep no data on servers, you control all data on your phone. In the app, open Settings › Delete all my data to delete signatures, stamps, copy history, the form profile, the recent file list, and working files at once; each can also be deleted individually. Uninstalling the app deletes all of that data. Result files in the Documents/Pictures folders remain yours and can be deleted with a file manager.
11. Limits of the signature feature
Image signatures, initials, and stamps in this app are like a scanned wet signature. They are not certified electronic signatures and not an Indonesian e-stamp duty (e-Meterai). Organization stamps may only be used by people authorized to use them.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app's features change. The effective date above will be updated with every change.
